Itinerary: Bishkek - Bokonbaevo – Bishkek.
Our trip will start in Bishkek from where we will be transferred to Bokonbaevo, the village located near south side of the lake Issyk-Kul. We will stop at the historical-architectural complex "Burana Tower" (XI century). After lunch at the house of local people we will continue our way. On the way you will visit Kyzyl-Tuu village (village of yurt makers), where you can see how Kyrgyz people make their national carpets and visit the handicrafts museum where you will have a chance to buy some souvenirs for your relatives and friends. In the evening you will stop for a night at a local home stay or in yurt camp in Bokonbaevo.
On the next day, after breakfast at your guest house you will be picked up at 9 o’clock and brought by car to “Angisay”, that takes around 30 minutes. After that you will hike 6 km with to a mountain. “Kara Kyr”. Overnight in a tent.
Once on top of Mt.“Kara Kyr”, you will be rewarded with a tremendous view of the glacier capped mountains of “Ala Too”.
The downhill will be very fast and easy because you will run down a gravel track. It only takes 20 minutes to reach the base of the mountain. From there you can either go back directly to “Angisay”, where you will be picked up by car and brought back to Bokonbaevo or you can stay another night in the beautiful nature surrounding Mt. “Kara Kyr” and recover from the ascent.
